Scarlet Pimpernel is a useful essence for someone emotionally entangled with another person.

There are two states the flower deals with - either being obsessed or being “possessed” by someone else. In either case they are unable to break free, even though they may realise that the relationship is unsatisfactory and probably very bad for them. There may well be strong psychic bonds originating from the dominant person. These can be difficult to break as this person usually has a lot to gain from the possessive relationship.
