SACRAL DANCE. Helps us connect with our inner haven, the place of our hidden self where we have complete privacy and space to dream, grow and renew ourselves. Enables us to contact our inner dreaming/spiritual blueprint.

The Egyptian Essences are a group of 5 Essences made in Egypt in 2011. They are essences which work specifically with the vibrancy of the chakras and unlike the standard range of LightBringer Essences, they are made by the sun method, using the cut flowers. As such they are much more 'physical' essences. The other essences in the Egyptian set are: Flame Tree, Pink Frangipani, Silk Tree and White Frangipani.

The Lantana was the first of the Egyptian Essences I made (see Flame Tree, Pink Frangipani, Silk Tree and White Frangipani for the other Egyptian Essences) and the one that drew me personally at the time. It enticed me by making me want to dance every time I walked by! This movement seems a strong part of its energy picture. It is an essence which balances the root, sacral, solar plexus and heart chakras, especially focusing on the central ones of these - the sacral and solar plexus chakras - by assisting their exuberant and joyful expression.

As you can see, this plant is astonishing for its gorgeous colours - all within the growth of one blossoming head. The reds, orange, yellows and pinks are all present together in vibrant and glorious colour.

The essence integrates the energy of the lower chakras and enables them to communicate harmoniously with each other. It particularly enlivens the sacral chakra, causing its energy to want to move and sway in the sensual manner of a belly dancer! (We may or may not respond in this way ourselves, but our energy is doing so - it begins to shake off regimented and restrictive linear patterns and become much more fluid, circular and expressive). And it brings strength and confidence to the solar plexus, enabling us to delightfully express ourselves without fear of judgement.

What does this mean in reality? Lantana releases us from rigid energies we or others may have imposed on us to shut down our physical and sensual expression. But this is not just about sensuality as it refers to a beloved; it is about sensuality as it refers to all of life - a dancing, merging, communicative relationship with the life force in and around us, and the willingness to let ourselves express this naturally and lovingly. It is an essence of joy and freedom, of throwing off restraints especially where they manifest as physical limitations, and of being delightfully engaged with the richness of life.
